Elton John To Play The Hollywood Palladium November 3rd

Elton John, one of the most successful artists of all time having sold more then 250 million records, holding the record for “bestselling single of all time” for his song “Candle in the Wind”, having more than 50 top 40 hits including 7 consecutive number one albums in the united states, holding 5 Grammys, not including his Academy Awards, Golden Globe, and Tony award at the age of 63 is not done doing his thing.

Elton John will join the stage with Leon Russell on November 3, 2010 at the Hollywood Palladium to support their new album, “The Union”, which will feature John and Russell in dueling pianos as they go through songs ranging in genre from R&B, Soul, Gospel, Country, pop and of curse Rock.

“We are thrilled to host Elton John and Leon Russell at the Hollywood Palladium," said Rick Mueller, the president of Live Nation's California branch. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see two of popular music’s most iconic singer-songwriters in an intimate setting. Anyone who calls themselves a music fan won’t want to miss this.”

The album is set for release on October 19th, 2010 and will feature Neil Young, Robert Randolph, and Booker T. Jones as guests.

While the palladium date is the first announced, more dates are expected.
