The 7th annual Lightning in a Bottle International Music and Arts Festival lineup has officially been announced featuring a lot of new talent and some old friends as well. The event takes place on Memorial Day Weekend ( May 24th-28th) at Irvine Lake in Silverado Canyon.

“We’re proud to bring this community of musicians and friends back together again for its biggest, most realized vision of music, consciousness, and sustainability efforts in the hills of Southern California,” said Jesse Flemming, co-founder, The Do LaB

Headlining this year's festival is Bassnectar and The Glitch Mob.

Bassnectar and The Glitch Mob's relationship with Lightning in a Bottle dates back to 2007 when they first appeared on the lineup and both artists and the festival were beginning to find their voice and audience. Over the past five years, all three have emerged from the California underground community to become national players in the emerging world of heart-pounding electronic music.

Lightning in a Bottle is an annual celebration of the community’s spirit and a deep commitment to preserve the environment and its resources. Described as a cross between Coachella and Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle won Europe’s prestigious 2010 and 2011 Outstanding Greener Festival Award. Last year’s sold-out event boasted an incredible lineup, including Pretty Lights, Thievery Corporation, and the magic of Lucent Dossier.
